PROJECT DESCRIPTION

 

"The magical effects of movement and atmosphere count more than the subject itself"

“The series People catches the vibes of a serene existence, the energy of a happy crowd. In these photographs I capture an "impression” of the everyday life and I interpret it. The scene itself is not crucial, the motion is. My lens focuses on the combination of spots, colors, lights and shadows. I let myself be enchanted by the beauty of the party: the shapes dissolve into the space, very few reveal some details. The image is nonconventional. What may seem a crazy arbitrary confusion leads to an intoxicant sense of freedom and energy. Meanwhile the human eye reconstructs the image”.
